Making 100,000 bells in one night!

In Pickles it is summer, and making 100,000 in one night is not that hard. All you have to do is catch some bugs on the trees, and fish.

The bugs that are worth the most come out after 7pm (some after 11pm)
Any bug on a coconut tree is worth between
6,000 and 12,000 bells

The rainbow stag is worth 10,000 bells

←see that little green bug on the far left tree?
Do not catch the little green bugs, they are only        worth 100 bells (as much as your native fruit)
however, there is a little gold bug that looks like it that is worth more

Don't forget to fish!
Some people like fishing a lot more than catching bugs...
personally I like catching the bugs on trees better, but that might be because they are worth more.
Do NOT walk around with a net out after 7pm in the summer! you will get attacked by a tarantula, or scorpion.

← Me getting attacked my a tarantula
When you are attacked by either a tarantula or scorpion, they will send you back to your house.
(I got attacked twice tonight)

You Had a Pathway

Lets say that you have a pattern on the ground.
You can see in this picture that my pathway looks like grass.
But you want to change your path pattern.
(I would want to change it because the color of my grass changed due to the season)

what do you do?
do you pick them all up and lay a new path down?
I know I wouldn't.

I would drag the pattern I want now
(which is the brick pattern I have made)

on top of the one currently being used... (the current one being the grass pattern)

And I would hit Copy

By copying the brick pattern to the spot that i had the grass pattern, the tile on the ground changed)

Yay! A lot less work then picking them all up and placing them again!

*Later I will be discussing how to place the patterns/tiles on the ground

Getting Items and New Fruit!

This is a guide on how to get new items and fruit by sending your (animal) neighbors fruit

If you send your neighbors letters with fruit in them, they will send back items or other fruit (apples, oranges, peaches, pears, cherries, or coconut)
You start the game with a native fruit (mine is pears) your native fruit sells at nooks for 100 bells, any other fruit will sell for 500 bells. but I am getting ahead of myself.

The first step would to be to get paper from nooks, or your lost and found (I will make a post about the lost and found later)
you will need to click on the paper and choose to write a letter. Then you will need to write something in the letter to the neighbor.
(As you can see I have written "Your a good friend" and I do realize that it should be spelled You're )

To Get Fruit

Drag a fruit up to the letter
the fruit will now look like a gift (as seen in the picture)
(as you see I am dragging an item into the letter, however if you want fruit, you should get some fruit and drag the fruit into the letter)

To Get Items

Drag an item up to the letter
the item should now be a gift in the letter (as seen in the picture)

Now you need to go to your town hall mail center
(where my character is)

Talk to the lady at the counter and ask to send the mail
Select all of the letters you want to send and hit confirm

You will recieve mail in your mailbox (to the left of your front door) within one or two days.
The flag on your mail box will be up and blinking if you have mail

* If you do not send them a present, they will not send you one back.

Hybrids

You will see in friends towns some flowers that are a different color, one you haven't seen before, these flowers are called hybrids and are made by planting two flowers (of the same type) next to each other.
 <--The carnations
(you get at mothers and fathers day)
will hybrid into a white carnation

Yes, a lot of my hybrids wilted today :(
If you would like to make hybrids there is an ACC (WW) Guide for Hybrids
I would like to note that this guide is for wild world, not city folk, but mostly works the same

My Basement full of hybrids :)

K.K. Slider Saturdays!

A Post about my K.K. slider Saturday!
If you do not know about K.K. Slider Saturdays, K.K. Slider is a musician that comes to the coffee house in the museum and will give you a song from 8pm to 12am (midnight) on Saturday nights.

This is a picture of me outside the roost
The roost is a coffee shop in the museum

← Blathers staring at me

← roost entrance

←Me inside the roost next to K.K. Slider

Me sitting at the table listening to K.K.'s song

K.K. slider songs go into your music box. Most houses come with music boxes, but they don't come with music. This is how you get music for your house.

In your inventory the song looks like a music note.

If you sold your music box, or want a better looking one, you can buy them at nooks.

← The song in my very full inventory
every song has a different name, that one just happens to be "Cafe K.K."

If you choose to request a song, I would like to note that the songs are case sensitive (some letters should be capitalized) If you want a list of K.K. Slider songs click Here

For almost all of my links (that are NOT to another post of mine) I use the ACC website

Trees

This post is a sequel to Grass!
As you play this game, you will notice that not all of your trees are growing.
I have an answer as to why your trees are not growing.

All of your trees need to have diggable spots around them.

I am not saying that they have to be dug out, just that they are able to be dug.

You see the trees behind me are one apart. you cannot plant two trees next to each other.

<-- So that means you can not grow trees on an edge
this tree will be wilted tomorrow because you cannot dig in all 8 spots around it.

You see the cherry tree grown behind me, I have dug
a hole between it and  the edge to show you that it is
not on the edge, but one to the left of the edge.

Another reason for trees not being able to grown would be because of acres. I do not have all of the information on acres, so I would like to refer you to the ACC (Animal Crossing Community) website page on trees.

GRASS!

As some of you have probably noticed, your grass dissapears. well, did you know that you can get it back? For a long time I thought it would never grow back... But flowers can grow the grass back 5x faster than normal, and trees grow grass back 3x faster than normal. Grass also grows fastest in the summer, and slowest in the winter. The grass only grows if you go on that day. growing happens at 6am (but you don't have to be on at 6, anytime that day will be fine)

Here is a picture of me growing my grass down a hill.
*Note that flowers and trees are better at growing grass, but it will grow back on its own eventually

YAY! my new blog!

Hi everyone, my name is Nicole and I live in Washington state.
OK, so I have been playing AC:CF (Animal Crossing City Folk) for 2 years now, and just found a memory card in my video camera that works in my wii. so I thought to myself "nicole, you need to take animal crossing pictures and make a blog" so I did.
I am hoping to post new stuff a few times a week and all posts should have pictures. Not only will this be a blog, but it will be a guide for those who are new to AC:CF
Today I got a lighthouse, YAY.
